Your garden in August

You can start collecting seeds from plants such as aquilegias, foxgloves and poppies. Make sure the seeds are dry and store them in brown envelopes in a cool dark place. Don't forget to name and date the envelopes, so that you know what's in them in the spring! You could even scatter them over raked soil and let nature take its course.
