"Recently a very good friend of mine who is a customer for many years with Thompson and Morgan introduced me to your online catalogue. As a keen gardener myself I was delighted to see the variety of flower seeds available at good prices and i know the service you provide is excellent. I look forward to continuing to browse the catalogue and place my first of many orders to come."

"I have lived on the Costa Blanca for 26 years & always found that the seeds I buy from Thompson & Morgan thrive far better than the ones I buy here. The seeds are all very reasonably priced, the service is excellent & the staff I have spoken to have always been more than helpful. I have had a great deal of sucess with veg seeds - herbs & certain veg grow better in large pots as the plot dries out very quickly. T&M veggies have the most wonderful flavour & I give "extras" to my friends & neighbours. Thank you T&M...each year my garden is slowly getting more colourful & I am learning more about what will survive."

There's a lot to do in the garden this month - deadheading, sowing annuals and perennials, harvesting and starting the autumn clean-up. Sowing annuals in autumn will give you bigger plants next year. Continue to deadhead annuals and perennials to encourage a last flush of blooms. If you've had a bumper harvest this year, it's a good idea to freeze, dry, pickle and store your produce to use throught the winter. Pinch out cordon tomato plants now to encourage fruits to ripen. Pot up herbs to grow on your kitchen windowsill in winter. Give your greenhouse a thorough clean to reduce the risk of pests and diseases that may hibernate there over the winter.
