Description

An easy to grow half hardy annual and cottage garden classic, freely flowering in a broad range of attractive blue shades throughout the summer. Its compact bushy habit makes it ideal for planting as drifts of colour, as border edging or in containers.

Sowing Instructions

Sow seed on the surface of good, free-draining, seed compost. Do not cover the seed. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag and place at 18-20C (64-68F) until after germination which takes 10-21 days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination.

Growing Instructions

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into trays or 7.5cm (3in) pots. Grow on in cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, 23-30cm(9-12in) apart.
