Silky foliage and golden yellow, pineapple scented flowers. Superb on a warm wall.
Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 70-75F (20-25C). Sow in well drained compost, just covering the seed with compost. Sowing Time: February to May. Soak the seeds in hand hot water for 2 hours, if the seeds are large they can first be lightly filed at one point on the seed before soaking.
Transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots when large enough to handle, taking care NOT to damage the roots. Grow on in a cold frame and plant out the following spring. Space the plants 2m (6ft) apart in full sun.
Prefers a sheltered sunny site.
