Description

Capsicum annuum. Compact 'ornamental edible' on the windowsill or outside in a sunny spot, producing masses of upright pale green, turning vivid red chillies throughout the summer. Chili Pepper Krakatoa makes an attractive and edible feature on a windowsill or sunny patio.

Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds from February to April. Sow seeds individually in small pots of seed sowing mix, 10mm (¼in) deep. Place pots in a propagator or seal inside a polythene bag and place at 21-25C (70-77F) until after germination.

Growing Instructions

Transplant seedlings into larger pots when large enough to handle and grow on a windowsill or plant outdoors when frost risk has passed, 45cm (18in) apart.

Aftercare

Water and liquid feed during dry weather.
