Phaseolus vulgaris. Sturdy, upright plants of compact habit producing beans high on the plant for easy picking and better quality pods as they do not touch the soil surface. Mid-green, round, slender, stringless pods. Dwarf Bean Bellini is superb for growing in containers or windowboxes.
Sow seeds from April to July. Sow seeds thinly direct outside or in containers, 3cm (1in) deep in rows 45cm (18in) apart and 20cm (8in) between plants. Alternatively space sow seeds in a bucket-sized container or windowbox creating an attractive and productive crop.
Keep well watered during dry weather.
