Pea Cavalier is a British bred maincrop with long, pointed, dark green pods with up to 10 seeds per pod. Height to 90cm. Good powdery mildew resistance.

Sow seeds March to June, regularly every 3 weeks for continuous summer crops. Sow seeds in well prepared soil in a sunny spot, in a wide drill 5cm deep and spaced about 5cm apart. Allow 90cm between each row.
Support growing plants with pea and bean netting or pea sticks and water regularly, particularly once flowering commences.
Pick pods regularly to extend the cropping period.
Add to risottos and pasta dishes.
