Sow seeds mid April to early June, 20mm deep in 7cm pots or cells using multipurpose compost. Place in a propagator at 20-25C until germination, which takes up to 7 days. Seeds can also be sown outdoors in warm soil from May. Tolerant to Powdery Mildew.
Plant out into rich, moist, well prepared soil once frost risk has passed, 60cm apart each way. Keep well watered and harvest regularly to ensure continuous cropping.
Delicious in salads, soups and pasta dishes.
