A first-year-flowering perennial with unbeatable flower power! Up to 100 delicate papery flowers per plant are produced throughout the summer in a mix of yellow, orange and white, creating a long-lasting, free-flowering and colourful border display.
Sow February to April or August to September. Sow seed on the surface of a good, free-draining, damp, seed sowing mix, but do not cover seed. Place container in a propagator or seal container inside a plastic bag and keep at a temperature of 18-20C (64-68F). Germination usually takes 14-30 days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination.
Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into trays or 7.5cm (3in) pots. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few days before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12in) apart.
