Semi-Bush (Semi-Determinate) Large, juicy, plum shaped, eye-catching, bright yellow fruits, ideal for a colour contrast in salads, as well as in ketchups or soups. Tomato Yellow Punch is best grown outdoors or in large containers.
Germinate at 20-30C (68-86F) on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Apply a layer of compost or vermiculite, 6mm (žin) deep. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 7-14 days.
Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots and grow on in cooler, well lit conditions. FOR PLANTING OUTSIDE - For growing as a bush. plant 60cm (24in) apart in moist, well-drained, fertile soil in a sunny position. FOR HANGING BASKETS Plant one per 30cm (12in) basket. Water well and keep in a cool position until well rooted. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions before hanging outside permanently after all risk of frost.
Feed regularly with tomato liquid feed and keep well watered.
