Description

A delicate, slightly climbing plant with pendulous lanterns in alluring, rich orange accompanied by exotic looking foliage.

Sowing Instructions

Sow February to May. Sow seeds 3mm (1/8in) deep in trays, pots, etc. of good seed compost and place in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 65-70F (18-20C).

Germination is slow and irregular, use a free draining compost.

Growing Instructions

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots.

Aftercare

Accilimatise young plants to outdoor conditions before planting out 30cm (12in) apart.

Prefers a well drained soil in full sun.
