Spikes of ¾in white flowers, tinged in pink. Long flowering in the border and as cut flowers. Cannot be sent to Hawaii.
Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 70-75F (20-25C). Surface sow on a peaty compost and keep compost slightly moist. Sowing Time: February to July. Germination usually takes 21-60 days.
Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Acclimatise young plants to outdoor conditions before planting out 45cm (18in) apart in full sun.
Prefers a well drained soil.
