Description

Beautiful, pure white flowers with a dashing violet picotee edging. The charming faces of this excellent, compact Viola will add grace and charm to your bedding, borders and patio containers.

Sowing Instructions

Sow February to March or September to October at 15-20C (60-68P) on the surface of a free draining, damp seed compost. Apply a fine sprinkling of vermiculite, just covering the seed. Place in a propagator or seal container in a polythene bag until after germination which takes 10-21 days. Take care not to provide too high a temperature, as this can prevent germination.

Growing Instructions

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Grow on in cool conditions for 10-15 days before planting out 23cm (9in) apart.

Aftercare

Overwinter September sowings in a coldframe then plant out the following spring.
