Fabulous variety which produces a prolific crop of 8-10g (1/3oz) small cherry-sized fruits which hang on trusses like bunches of grapes. Delicious sweet taste with a bit of ‘bite’. Best grown as a cordon (needs side shooting) outside or in the greenhouse.
Sow April to May. Place seed on the surface of a good, free-draining, damp seed compost and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator at a constant temperature of around 18-20C (64-68F) until after germination, which takes 7-10 days.
Transplant seedings when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Plant in final situation when 20cm (8in) high, 45cm (18in) apart. Remove sideshoots regularly.
Tomatoes are packed with antioxidants and high in Vitamin A and C, and lycopene, all helping to stimulate your body's immune system.
The perfect cherry fruit, ideal for fresh salads.
