Description

A delightful plant in snow-white which is spectacular when planted on its own or with other plants in baskets or containers. Sold as a multi-seeded pellet for easy sowing into modules or Jiffy 7’s to aid easy planting.

Height: 5-15cm (2-6in) - Trailing up to 45cm (18in).

Sowing Instructions

Sow seed on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays. This seed is supplied as a multi-pellet so should not be covered, but requires regular misting to help the breakdown of the pellet and to aid germination. Place sown containers in a propagator or warm place, and keep at a temperature of between 20-23C (68-75F). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Germination will usually take 5-10 days. When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays.

Growing Instructions

Gradually acclimatise young plants to outdoor conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, 15-23cm (6-9in) apart in baskets or containers.

Aftercare

For best results, grow in a well-drained soil-less compost in full sun.
