From successional sowings you can harvest coloured curds through the summer, then as autumn approaches you will notice the colours are more pronounced, continuing until late November. Cauliflower Cheddar F1 Hybrid - (Sumr-Aut) Aptly named, producing stunning yellow-orange heads containing a high level of beta carotene.

Cauliflower Emeraude F1 Hybrid -(Late Sum-Aut) Superb quality, medium-sized plants produce delicious and very nutritious attractive bright-green curds.

Cauliflower Gitano F1 Hybrid - (Aut) A Romanesco-type which is one of the most nutritious brassicas you can grow. Deep green heads with an erect pyramidal curd full of spirals.

Cauliflower Nessie F1 Hybrid - (Sum-Aut) Outstanding cauliflower producing pure white curds which do not discolour.

Kitchen Notes

All are sweet and delicious enough to eat raw as snacks, in salads, as crudités or in stir-fries. Curds are best steamed or microwaved in minimal water as a cooked vegetable, as this helps retain much of their colour.
