Loads of varieties in one pack
By Thomas Lawson 31-08-2011
This is my first year with this pack and I am so pleased. I now have only 2 lettuce seed packs instead of 6 different ones. The pack may cost a little extra but is cheaper than buying loads of different variety packs. The only additional pack i buy is Webbs Wonderful.
Best Ever

First year of growing this mixture and my husband and I are really happy with the growth, variety and the lack of bolting in this dry weather. Well done T&M.
Sow seeds March to August, thinly 13mm (½in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart in soil which has been raked to a fine tilth.
When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 30cm (12in) apart. Harvest a few leaves from each plant, or if for full hearts when they feel firm when gently pressed. Keep well watered during spells of dry weather.
The dark green leaves of lettuce are a good source of beta-carotene and Vitamin A.
