Description

A superb tall and easy annual with strong colours ranging from white to carmine. Excellent for cutting and make very attractive pot plants for summer flowering in a cold greenhouse. Flowers summer to autumn. Height 36-48in.

Easy to grow. Plant them into a sunny spot and you'll have lots of flowers. Can get blown about because of their height and delicate foliage so might need staking, depending on position. Oh and the hidden benefit? They will attract Goldfinches into your garden :-D

An excellent product. My Cosmos 'Sensation Mixed' seeds germinated 4 days ago, I can't wait to see the flowers! I recommend this 100%.

Sowing Instructions

Sow 3mm (1/8in) deep in spring at 21 -24C (70-75F) in a good seed compost. Keep soil damp but not wet, sealing in a polythene bag after sowing is helpful. Germination usually takes 5-10 days.

Growing Instructions

When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow on in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 60cm (24in) apart in a sunny spot on light well drained soil. For pot plants, transplant the seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots, grow cool, well ventilated and give plenty of light, but shade from direct sun.
