Radicchio : Firestorm - Duchy Originals

Italian salad vegetable, rich in antioxidants. Radicchio Firestorm is best grown for full sized heads in autumn and early winter with excellent weather resistance. The round heads have green outer leaves.

Radicchio : Treviso Precoce Mesola

Italian salad vegetable used to add zest, colour, texture and unique flavour to mixed salads. Ideal for autumn and early winter use, with outstanding weather resistance. Radicchio Treviso Precoce Mesola can also be used as a salad leaf through the spring and summer. Distinctive flavour and texture in a mixed salad.

Prefers a fertile, well-drained soil in full sun.

Radish : Flamboyant Sabina (Cylindrical)

High quality half-long, cylindrical radishes with a white tip. When you bite into Radish Flamboyant Sabina, the first reaction is "wow!". The flavour really is refreshingly strong, crisp and clean. It's just what the summer salads needs.

Radish : Amethyst

Raphanus sativus. Shiny purple skinned round roots with crisp white flesh. The roots of Radish Amethyst are slow to go pithy and have strong tops for easier pulling. Ideal for containers.

Sow regularly for continuous succulent roots throughout the summer.

Radish : Cherry Belle (Globe)

Bright red skin and crisp, sweet and succulent mildly flavoured white flesh. Radish Cherry Belle is early, very fast maturing, and very slow to go woody.

Radish : Chinese : China Rose

A traditional 'winter' variety for sowing in late June and July to harvest and store for winter use in salads. Chinese Radish China Rose has quite long, tapering roots of carmine skin and pure white, crisp pungent flesh.

Radish : Chinese : Mantanghong F1

Known as 'Beauty Heart' with green and white skinned tennis ball sized roots have an inner core of bright magenta. The flesh of Chinese Radish Mantanghong is crisp, sweet, slightly nutty with a touch of 'heat' only in the outer white flesh. Perfect for salads, on their own as a gourmet vegetable, sprinkled with sugar or carved into roses. They store for several weeks in a fridge.

Radish : French Breakfast 2 - Duchy Originals

Quick growing, with bright red skin and a white tip. Radish French Breakfast 2 has crisp flesh with a delicate, mild taste.

Radish : French Breakfast 3 (Long)

Crisp, crunchy, mild and sweet. Radish French Breakfast 3 is ideal for decoration - make small uneven cuts around the outside of the radish, place in iced water and it will open up into floral shapes.

Radish : Mirabeau

The cylindrical, pale red roots with small white tips make Radish Mirabeau a most attractive bunching radish. Radish Mirabeau seeds are excellent for both early sowings under glass as well as for maincrop outdoor sowings. Seeds are in the RHS Vegetable Collection. Crunchy delight for salads.

Radish : Mooli : Neptune F1 Hybrid

A popular autumn/winter maturing 'mooli' producing pure white, crisp fleshed, mild flavoured 25cm (10in) long roots. Mooli Radish Neptune has excellent bolt resistance and winter hardiness and stands well in good condition over a long period. Prefers a well-drained, rich fertile soil.

Radish : Mooli : Tsukushi Spring Cross F1 Hybrid

Increasingly popular for their pure white roots with a crisp, mild flavour and roots that don't go pithy. Unlike most long, difficult to harvest Mooli varieties, Mooli Radish Tsukushi Spring Cross produces shorter 25cm (10in) long roots, 6cm (2½in) in diameter. Best grown for autumn and winter production. Mooli Radish Tsukushi Spring Cross is fully winter hardy, with roots remaining in perfect condition over a long period. or they can be lifted and stored the same as other root crops.
