Prolific, cup shaped, blood red, black centred flowers. Adonis aestivalis has ornamental, leathery foliage.

Agrostemma githago Milas

Stunning magenta blooms, on slender stems, move in the slightest breeze adding style, grace and a touch of elegance to borders or wild meadows. Easy to grow in any position, quick to flower and ideal for the cottage or wild flower garden.

Agrostemma githago Ocean Pearl

A really unusual and easy to grow annual. Bred by Thompson & Morgan, the tall erect plants have lots of extra large, pure white flowers with distinctive black speckled markings. Best suited as a border filler but can be used as a short-lived cut flower.

Agrostemma gracilis Queen Mixed

This stunning colour combination of regal purple and crystal white is sure to add style, grace and a touch of elegance to beds and borders. Easy to grow in any position, quick to flower and ideal for the cottage garden, or as a cut flower. Prefers a light, well drained soil in full sun. Height 90-120cm (3-4ft).

Alyssum maritima procumbens Avalanche

For a sweetly scented carpet of snow white flowers, we don't think you'll do better than choose Avalanche. A selection which is vigorous and uniform, starting to flower extra early and continuing throughout the season. Easy to grow and a must for beds, borders and the rockery. Flower summer. Height 6cm (2.5in).

Amberboa muricata

Easy to grow annual which produces tall stems clothed with large, attractive, purple-mauve flowers, adding height to borders and ideal for cutting. Spectacular sown en-masse in drifts and will flower all summer long until the first night frosts of autumn.

Ammi majus Graceland

Elegant, large flat umbels of lacy white flowers grace strong uniform stems of dark green fern-like foliage all summer.

Stunning in the border or as a cut flower.

Height: 100- 140cm (40-56in).

Ammi visnaga

A charming border filler with beautiful, lacy white flower heads with a gentle green tinge, above soft, ferny foliage. Recommended for mixed borders and summer bedding, also makes an excellent cut flower for bouquets.
