Achillea filipendulina Cloth of Gold

Free flowering, Achillea Cloth of Gold is an indispensible border plant, with flat, plate-like 4-6 inch mustard yellow flower heads of easy culture and ideal for mixed borders or cutting. The flat flower heads of Achillea Cloth of Gold can also be dried and used as "everlastings". Flowers mid to late summer. Height: 5ft.

Actinotus helianthi

The pure white star blooms of this Australian native, have an intriguing flannel - like texture. Actinotus is sure to make a talking point in the border, as well as an unusual dried flower.

Agastache cana

A very lovely, choice order plant and entirely "at home" in the cottage garden. Plants are quick to establish and produce many branched stems with dense spikes of rosy-pink, 1in.long flowers during mid to late summer. Flowers in its first year but really does become stunning from the second year onwards, and being an Agastache, it possesses wonderful aromatic foliage. Loved by bees and butterflies

Amaranthus caudatus Loves Lies Bleeding

Rarely seen; clusters of beautiful star-like flowers. Glossy 3-6in Narrow leaves.

Anemanthele lessoniana

Beautiful, arching grass with strands of glimmering ruby-red shining through the lime-green swards. Spectacular when waving in the breeze, like 'angels' hair' or grown as a specimen in the border or a container.

Anemone rivularis

Metallic blue-tinged white 2.5cm (1in) flowers with startling blue anthers lure the onlooker. A lesser known 'windflower' with the typical finely cut silky foliage, and attractive seed heads, this hardy perennial will delight gardeners most when planted in damp soil, or by the side of a pool/pond. Height: 30-60cm (12-24in).

Antirrhinum majus nanum Bronze Dragon

These eye-catching, bushy, dwarf plants have the darkest, almost black foliage we have ever seen on an Antirrhinum! Bred by Thompson & Morgan, Bronze Dragon looks almost as attractive before flowering as it does when smothered in its gorgeous, purple and white bicoloured blooms.
