Did You Know? - The first carrots were not orange. The orange colour was developed in the 16th Century by Dutch farmers to match the colour of The House of Orange. Carrots can be yellow, orange, white and even purple.

I am so quick and easy to grow. You can grow me all year round on a windowsill and eat me within 10-12 days. I am very nutritious and tasty in salads and sandwiches.

I am a beautiful golden yellow flower with maroon blotches that will look very pretty at the edge of your garden. I will have tons of blooms from summer until it gets cold and frosty. You can also plant me in patio containers. Height: 25cm.

I am a giant, brightly coloured nasturtium that will wander through borders or trail around pots in your garden. You can even eat my flowers and spicy leaves in salads. Height: 20cm.

Childrens - Ornamental Cucumber Hedgehog

I am a climbing plant that will produce lots of pale green, round, decorative, spiny fruits which you can turn into decorations and characters. I am so prickly you will think I am just like a hedgehog. Height: 1.2m.

Use my fruits to make decorations, characters, or a whole family of hedgehogs. We will last up to 3 months.

Did You Know? Real hedgehogs like to curl up in dry places, under piles of leaves and twigs or under a hedge.

Childrens - Poached Eggs

I am a bright little plant that looks just like fried egg. I am easy to grow and will produce hundreds of flowers all through the summer. Height: 15cm.

Lady Dotty is very proud of her bright red back and red spots. She will eat the naughty greenfly on other plants. Poppy Ladybird is very easy to grow and looks just like Lady Dotty. Height: 45cm.

Childrens - Pumpkin Mars

I am a small pumpkin ideal for Halloween carving but my flesh is rich orange and is very tasty and ideal for pumpkin pies. So you can eat the inside of me and then carve me into a scary lantern. I will weigh about 2.5kg when grown and good for storing through winter.

Ask An Adult for Help- Carve a scary face in the pumpkin and put outside your house on Halloween.
FACT: Pumpkins are 90% water. You will notice your pumpkin lantern starts to shrivel as it dries out.

I am a crunchy, tasty, bright red radish ideal for a tangy snack or with your favourite salad. I'm quick and easy to grow outdoors in the soil or in small pots and windowboxes.

Runner beans like to grow up canes as they grow very tall with lots and lots of dangling green beans 30-37cm long in the summer. The bright red flowers of Runner Bean Scarlet Emperor attract butterflies and bees. The beans are tasty and very good for you to eat. Height: 2m.

Did You Know? - Not all sunflowers are yellow or tall. Look for furry-looking teddy bear types, different colours and ones with several flowers on one stem.

I'm a fun plant to grow as I have spotted fruits with a long neck that make me look like an elegant swan. When my fruits are dried you can paint me with faces or leave me looking like a swan. Height: 2m.

My name is Tomato Tigerella and I am unusual as I am red with yellowy-orange stripes. I am a big round, really yummy tomato and easy to grow. Height: 1.2m.
