Basil : Siam Queen (Ocimum minimum)

A very fragrant selection and distinct improvement over other Thai Basils. Basil Siam Queen has an extra large leaf size and large plants mean more of that intense liquorice fragrance. The bright green leaves make an attractive foil for the purple-red stems which bear violet-pink flowers. Basil Siam Queen is superb as a container plant on the patio where you can smell its aroma. Basil lettuce Leaf: Almost in appearance to a frilly- leaf lettuce. Short, robust plants with large leaves which have a sweet taste. Use with tomatoes, olive oil, onions and Morzorella cheese. Height: 20in.

Basil Purple Delight: Uniform plants dark purple leaves, compact habit and a good container plant. Full bodied, sweet yet very spicy flavour, superb for garnishing and flavouring. Height: 12-14in.

Basil Lemon: The typical Basil flavour is overshadowed by a wonderful aroma of sweet lemon. Delicious used with fish, peas and selected sweets. Height: 24in.

Basil Ararat: An old heirloom, distinct variety with dark green mottled foliage, seldom offered until recently. Fantastic aromatic, sweet and spicy taste. Height: 14-18in.
