Ideal For:
patio, greenhouse, conservatory, walls and fences, ground cover, exotic garden
Flowering Period:

Sowing Months:
February, March, April, May

    • 1 packet (30 morning glory seeds)

    •
    • Despatch: Despatch within 24 hours
    • £2.99
Sowing Time: February to May. Lightly file one end of each seed or soak for 2 hours in tepid water before sowing. Sow into pots or trays of moist seed compost and cover with a 1/4in layer of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or warm place, and keep at a constant temperature of between 20-25C (68-77F). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination will usually take 7-30 days.

When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12in) apart. For best results, provide a light, well-drained soil in full sun.

Caution: toxic if eaten.

  1. Star of Yalta?

The first plant begins to flower and...it is a completely different colour than shown on this page and packet. A beautiful deep blue with cerise stripes. Not 'Kniola's Black Night' at all :-(
